I can't believe I am starting my 2nd year of college on Friday. I am going to be moving in, starting at a new school, meeting my roommate for the first time.. yeah it is craziness.
A big problem for me is that I HAVE SO MUCH CLOTHES. It is truly ridiculous, so much to pack, and even more to try to leave behind.. it is very tricky.
Here are some reasons why I worked at an interfaith youth organization this summer and why interfaith dialogue is a really important thing:
I think that interfaith cooperation is important right now & for the future because so many people, especially politicians and leaders, are afraid of people who are different than them in any way, whether it is religion, ethnicity, political persuasion, gender, sexual orientation, or any other trait.
I think most young people are accepting & open minded and realize that having a diverse community is a powerful thing. Interfaith dialogue works to reduce prejudice & misunderstanding, as well as unites people together through shared values. I think that politicians could really learn something from people who are accepting of others and appreciate the differences that our communities have.

..on that note.. here are some stragglers from my vacation photos:
My old best friend's name is Rhianna & I would always take pictures here when I was young and send them to her :)
Española, NM is full of colorfully painted low riders with lots of hydraulics and lights under the bottom of the car. It is a super cool city. lolz.
This lil guy was outside my campsite
(in order L to R) My brother, my grandpa, and my cousin at our family reunion in Oregon (they were being spotters for my grandpa while he played ping-pong) My grandpa is so good at ping-pong that no one in his retirement home will play with him! ^^
This is my mom on our hike to those cave ruins! She is great & she took the majority of the photos of me this summer. Thanks mom!!
mmk well I hope you have a great day and end of your week! I think I will stud the knees of a pair of pants now whilst watching 30 Rock.
I have been listening to this song non stop, take a listen:
I don't have much to say. When I was in New Mexico I went to these cave dwelling ancient ruins. It was super cool. People lived on this hill/mountain and they slept in caves that they made because the sandstone was soft enough to carve it out into caves. It was cool and there were ancient etchings on the wall.
everything I am wearing is thrifted, except for my shoes which I got at a real store.
here are pictures from the ancient ruins:
I am excited for when I get home because I will have creepers and americana leggings from here.
Being on vacation makes me lazy with blogging.. I just want to shut off the computer and often I don't have access to internet.
It is nice, I haven't charged my phone in over a week and it still has all the power.. meaning it has been off a lot. yaayy. It is nice to not know what time it is and to not have a schedule.
Right now, I am in Oregon with my whole dad's side of the family. I love family reunions, currently my cousin and brother are having a heated game of ping pong.. I think my brother is winning. noice ^-^
This is while I was still in New Mexico:
yeah, New Mexico is gorgeous.
I love New Mexico, it is sad to think that I wont be there for a long time. I hope I will be able to go next summer, but I might visit my best friend Sonja in Germany instead.
I went to 2 different thrift stores today in Espanola, NM. I got some cool stuffs. maybe I will wear them soon and put pictures up..
say hello to my little friend:
Also, I have been thinking I should really do something with my love for thrifting and fashion and clothes.. I am not sure what, maybe an online shop orrr try to get a cool internship somewhere.
Cheers to my girl Larissa who just opened up her online shop, Miracle Eye
